Kestral Welcomes Coffs Coast Medical Imaging
Karisma Go-Live was recently completed for startup radiology practice Coffs Coast Medical Imaging (CCMI) in NSW.
Practice owner Leighton Rogan has provided CCMI with leading-edge technology including nuclear medicine machines, a state-of-the-art 64 slice CT scanner and 3D ultrasound equipment in service to the Coffs Coast and Coffs Harbour region of NSW. The excellent facilities at CCMI were two years in planning and cost an estimated four million dollars.
Staff at CCMI, including Mr Rogan and Karisma key user Kym Foster worked with Kestral to implement an integrated Karisma-Inteleviewer system to operate throughout the facility. Important input from CCMI staff assisted in the configuration of detailed specifics for nuclear medicine procedures – all achieved within the standard features of Karisma.
With the Karisma-Inteleviewer system installed, Coffs Coast and its staff of 15 health professionals will benefit from Karisma’s many features including integrated accounting, digital dictation, efficient workflow, in-built management reporting and more.
Illustrating the forward-thinking talent of the management and staff at CCMI, the facility is the region’s first nuclear medicine camera capable of fusion imaging, which details functional and anatomical abnormalities simultaneously. Kestral is proud to have Karisma play a part in CCMI’s ongoing commitment to the best possible service for their patients.
