Rod Biggar

Chief Executive Officer

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset’s Body Type sheets.

It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

David Moran

Business Development Manager

Based in Melbourne, David has a keen insight to radiology and imaging technology. Over the last 25+ years, he’s been heavily involved in Imaging, including working as a Radiographer, then as a salesperson for Kodak’s X-Ray film solutions, and at Phillips in Nuclear Medicine solutions.

When the Imaging industry changed to viewing studies on PACS, David joined Sectra managing the PACS business in Australia and New Zealand. After which he made his way to Kestral.

When out of the office, you can find David at the local cinema watching the latest films. And on weekends, he happily cooks delicious food for family and friends.

Stephen Bettoli

Operations Manager

Driven by a desire to achieve better health outcomes for all Australians, Steve has extensive experience from working on the service delivery side of public health in Microbiology labs across Victoria.

As our Operations Manager, he has a keen eye for optimising the business and creating cohesion across the Kestral team. He started as an account manager with us and worked his way up through the ranks, always trying new things.

When he’s not thinking laterally about how to improve Kestral’s operations, you can find him at home playing console games, like Call of Duty.

Jan Sebire

Support Manager

As one of our longest serving team members, Jan has experienced just about every role possible in the Support and Professional Services teams at Kestral.

From help desk to customer account management, software upgrades to product testing, and even demonstrations and after-hours support. Jan’s variety of experience feeds into her role as Support Manager, helping our customers get the most out of our products.

Prior to joining us in 1999, Jan graduated as a Medical Microbiology Scientist in public hospital laboratories. She also worked as a laboratory technician, and at the RAAF hospital in Laverton.

When she’s not supporting our customers, Jan loves playing squash, cooking, travelling, watching sport and dabbling in amateur photography.

Andrew Waddingham

Professional Services Manager

A medical scientist by trade, Andrew has worked in radiology for the last 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science and worked his way through support and technical support roles before finding his way into installation and project management for Karisma at Kestral.

Amongst his many achievements with us, he’s most proud of setting up the New Zealand office. And on top of that, his role in the professional services team is far reaching, bringing lots of variety and customer interaction.

Known affectionately as “Waddo”, Andrew is addicted to CrossFit and loves the thrill of nailing a good lift (when his injuries allow!).

Vishal Bhuimbar

Chief Technology Officer

Vishal is an experienced Development Manager specialising in Healthcare IT. He’s been involved in the design and development (from the ground up) of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and has in-depth knowledge of billing and integrations.

At Kestral, he enjoys engaging with our customers to get to the heart of their pain points. This, in turn, informs his work on our products. Designing better solutions is one of his passions.

A self-described ‘decent cook’, Vishal also loves playing cricket and listening to music.
